Utah’s Governor Gary R. Herbert and his wife Jeanette Herbert hosted Rabbi Benny Zippel, along with 150 guests from Chabad Lubavitch of Utah for a Menorah Lighting Ceremony at the Governor’s Mansion in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, December 20, 2011.

Governor Gary Herbert lit the Shamash, the Honorable Ambassador John Price (former US Ambassador to the Mauritius, Seychelles and Comoro Islands) lit the first Candle and pianist Gershon Wachtel entertained. Participants were invited to meet with the Governor at a Chanukah reception in the Governor's Mansion’s formal Dining Room.
